currently seeking candidates for a Program Director in Altoona, PA. Core
responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervising and
supporting social service workers and staff to assure that each
child receives services in accordance with all laws, regulations and
internal policies; supervising treatment, planning and progress of
clients; assuring resolution of critical incidents for foster
care/family preservation services, visiting foster homes annually
and those homes that have more than three foster children a minimum
of twice per year; developing budget for services to assure office is operating
without financial loss; maintaining communication with referral
agencies. This position requires a Master’s degree in Social Services or related field, or
Bachelor's degree in Social Services or a related field and
currently enrolled in a Master's program in Social Services.
