Sarah Reed Children’s Center, a private non-profit child and adolescent mental health agency, seeks a full-time, doctoral licensed or license-eligible child and adolescent or school psychologist for key clinical leadership role.     A Master’s level case manager is needed for Short-term Therapeutic Outreach to Prevent Placements (STOPP), a CYS contracted service that offers 24/7 availability is family centered and community based. The Case Manager provides quick response to families in crisis and development and implements a community resource plan. Services are delivered in homes and within community during non-conventional hours. Creativity is encouraged as much autonomy and responsibility is necessary to impact high-needs families.  May also be assigned to handle cases in our other programs offered in Lehigh (JustCare and VIP).   • Philadelphia County: Case Manager (confirmed 05/07/08):
    An experienced case manager is sought for outstanding reintegration program serving juvenile delinquents. The position entails visiting youth during residential placement to insure that services provided are relevant to the reality of family and community; develop and oversee reintegration plan; visit families during child's placement; and provide 90 days of continuing care (aka, aftercare) upon a child's return to the community. Some travel is required as well as a Bachelor's degree (or greater) with 4+ years working with delinquent youth and good working knowledge of community resources are required. Must be diligent, proactive, good with paperwork and able to establish positive working relationships with youth and family as well as probation and other stakeholders.     Working as a client advocate for special-needs children and adolescents in a residential treatment facility, the STATS resource observes interactions between staff and clients, taking note of areas of needed staff development and working in conjunction with the Training department to develop programs to address noted issues. STATS run client groups to help clients understand and utilize the grievance process to help them build skills. STATS will respond to any escalating situation and demonstrate the skills to de-escalate the situation and instruct staff on how to improve the process. The STATS will develop individual training plans to further develop skills at the direct care level or make recommendations for further action.
