Contracting and purchase of service issues - counties and providers.
Worked to build communication channels and exchange information.
- Presented joint training for providers and counties
with PCYA staff. Also conducted an educational session for county
commissioners focusing on contracting and purchase of service
issues.
- Addressed general funding issues both through traditional
child welfare funding options (OCYF) and medical assistance
funding (OMAP).
- Worked to influence appropriations for CW services
through legislative contacts.
- Foster Care rate negotiation with DHS
